4 Characteristics Which Goals Must Have

These are 4 MUST
Not Have too's, maybe's, or might’s, they are Must.



1. They must be clear and well defined. This is the one people fail at most often because they do not define what success is to them.
I hear "I wish to be successful". My response is "Successful at what?" i.e. CLEAR AND WELL DEFINED.

2. They must be realistic. If you are delivering newspapers and you want to be the owner of the newspaper you must break the goal down. What kind of education, experience, or skills must I learn to achieve this? What is my first step? Chunk it down to small and gradual stages.

Remember every step you take toward success pays a dividend.

3. They must be constantly kept in mind... You must have an interest in them so your conscious and subconscious mind will always pull you toward achieving them.

4. They must lead to a plan of action. The more meaning they have to us the more we want them and the more action we will take to reach them.

Don't ask "how?" questions ask "what" questions

If you want it bad enough the "how" will appear. Your job is to find the "what".
